This usually means you are trying to load a file in a nonsupported format in JW Player. A common case is the loading of a .wmv video, or a.mov video that doesn't use the H264 video codec.

W Player 7 officially supports 12 distinct media formats:
    • 3 video file types: MP4, WebM and FLV.
    • 3 audio file types: AAC, MP3 and Vorbis.
    • 3 streaming protocols: HLS, RTMP, and DASH.
    • YouTube videos, using the official iFrame API.
    • RSS feeds, using enclosures or the Media or JWPlayer extension.
    • JSON feeds
Maybe you need this: Windows Media Feature Pack for Windows 7 N and for Windows 7 KN:
    If You Use Chrome

Please make sure you have updated to the latest version of Chrome. This should solve the issue.

Additionally, you can also try these basic troubleshooting steps:

    Delete your cache and cookies
    Try Incognito mode

    • If you are able to open e-mail links within incognito mode, then temporarily disable your extensions to identify which one is causing the problem. To do this go to chrome://extensions and uncheck Enabled for each extension one by one.
    Reset your browser settings

    Turn off hardware acceleration
