Whenever you watch a video on your computer and you notice the error code M7361-1253, the problem is usually a network connectivity issue which prevents your computer from getting access to Netflix. The problem can be resolved with the following troubleshooting steps.

This issue is common among people who use Google Chrome. You won't be able to watch videos if you are using the latest update of Google Chrome with Kaby Lake processor, as the two are not compatible. We hope Netflix will look into this incompatibility issue. You can also experience this problem on Google Chrome without using it with Kaby Lake processor. If the problem was due to incompatibility with Kaby Lake processor, changing the browser will resolve the issue. If it occurs with another processor, then your Google Chrome has a problem, and you will have to resolve it. Apart from these reasons, the problem may also be due to issues with an application or the operating system, audio sample rate and so on.

In case you experience Google Play error, this is due to an outdated Google Play, and an update will resolve the issue.

Method 1: Disable/Enable Hardware Acceleration

Google Chrome employs hardware acceleration to produce an enhanced visual experience for online video streams. In some situations, the hardware acceleration can create glitches in your video streams, such as lagging mouse and other issues. You can solve this problem by disabling and enabling the hardware acceleration. If this is the only problem you encounter while streaming videos online with Google Chrome, we advise you to reset the hardware acceleration by disabling and enabling it.

To enable hardware acceleration, go to Chrome settings page by following these steps:

1. Launch your Chrome web browser.
2. Type chrome: //settings into the address bar.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
4. Click the Advanced settings link.
5. This will give you more options. Scroll down to the end of the page.
6. Under the "Systems" caption, check the option titled "Use hardware acceleration when available."
7. A prompt to restart Chrome will be displayed. Click Restart.
8. When Chrome restarts, type in chrome: //gpu into the address bar. You will notice that most of the items under the Graphics Feature will have "hardware accelerated" beside them.

Method 2: Replace your Internet Browser

With this method, all you have to do to continue streaming videos on Netflix is to change your web browser. For users of Windows 10, you can use Internet Explorer or Edge. Better still, you can install the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. Edge can only be used on Windows 10, but users of older Windows versions can make do with Mozilla Firefox, Opera Mini, and Internet Explorer and so on.

If you are bent on using the Chrome, the Google Chrome Canary can also stream Netflix videos. The only difference between the two is that the Google Chrome Canary comes with the most recent features of Chrome. The Canary was designed with early adopters and developers in mind and may crash sometimes.

Method 3: Change Audio Sample Rate:

This is the least common solution to this problem. The sample rate is the number of audio carrier samples per second and is measured in Hertz or KiloHertz. With this method, you are going to change the sample rate on your playback devices.

For Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and Windows 10:

• Right-click on the speaker icon at the lower right corner of the taskbar.
• Select Playback Devices
• Select your playback device with a green checkmark.
• Right-click your playback device, speaker or headphone, then click on properties.
• Open Advanced tab
• Change audio sample rate to higher or lower frequency. It is better to test different frequencies and pick the one with the best result.
• Click Apply, and Ok.
• Stream videos on Netflix

What to do if you experience Google Play Error

If you still encounter the error, we advise you to update your Google play and Netflix application. After the upgrade, you will be able to stream videos via Netflix.
